Changing the motor is very easy. Follow these simple instructions:

 

1. Turn the car over onto its back. Your first task is to unclip the back wheels. You will need to be careful in doing this to not bend the axle.

2. To take off the body, unclip the front of the car first.

3. The motor will need to be taken out. There will be a metal heat-sink clip holding the motor in place. You can unclip the heat-sink from the back.

4. You will now be able to take the motor out. Carefully pull the gear off the motorhead and push it into the new motor.

5. Place the motor back in its place and re-assemble the car in reverse of the instructions above and test the car. It should now be in working condition. If you find the wheels are not moving, check that the gear on the motor is in the correct way.
